Welcome to the Picos de Europa

The mountain range that is only 20 km from the northern coast of Spain and is widely visited by lovers of hiking and other outdoor activities for the challenges it provides, including mountains very high, rushing rivers and some of the deepest caves in the world!

This National Park of more than 67,000 hectares is distributed between the province of León and the communities of Cantabria and Asturias. A wonderful natural environment, ideal for hiking among its peaks, lakes, rivers and extensive meadows, and which also allows you to savor delicious cuisine and visit charming towns.

Impressive peaks

The highest peaks of this small coastal mountain range reach, in many cases, more than 2,500 meters high.They offer impressive views from the peaks, but they are even more beautiful from the ground, where you can see their jagged edges, the product of centuries of slow action of the glaciers.

The best adventures

The Picos de Europa may not be the highest mountains in Spain, but they are the favorites of many hikers, climbers and lovers of extreme sports. Declared a National Park in 1995, the mountain range is a masterpiece of nature that extends over the provinces of Asturias, León and Cantabria.
