Rafting is carried out in the Cares and Deva rivers in their upper sections of white water. We descend in inflatable boats with up to seven participants plus the guide.

It is in winter and spring when our rivers are largest and the conditions are optimal for rafting.

The Cares and Deva rivers, full of life, with their crystalline waters, their canyoned landscape and their fauna, make rafting in The Picos de Europabe more than exciting, an adventure for our senses.

Although the Cares River has good conditions for rafting, it is the Deva River that has the best conditions for an exciting and fun descent. That is why our first option is the Deva River.

The Deva river begins in Fuente Dé, passes through potes, crosses the Hermida gorge, (the longest in Europe), and it is here in the middle of the gorge where the waterfalls , meanders and natural obstacles will put the icing on the cake of an activity full of adventure. A few meters from its junction with the Cares River and just at the moment when the landscape opens to the Panes Valley, our rafting descent down the Deva River will end.

We only need some instructions, good equipment and a Canoe Adventure Trophy guide to enjoy a day descending by boat along the Deva River, the largest of the Picos de Europa.

Two hours of duration immersed in the Picos de Europa. It is not surprising that it is the most popular activity in winter and spring along with canyoning.

Ducks, herons, cormorants, otters, squirrels, vultures, goats, salmon and trout fill the Deva River with life and we can see them as we pass with just a little luck.< /p>
